The wines of Favignana island

It is an eno-sensorial journey in the Sicily of excellence, the trip proposed by Firriato in its wine tasting in Favignana, where niche productions are made, and where the territory and the varietal choice of the plants, are able to fully embody the guiding concept of terroir.

An exclusive tasting to learn about the unique wine production currently existing in the Egadi Archipelago. A heroic project, that Firriato brings back on the small island of Favignana after centuries. An extreme territory and border, the umpteenth challenge won by Firriato that today gives its admirers the Favinia line.

Three wines obtained from grapes grown in the five hectares of the splendid Tenuta di Calamoni in Favignana. Favinia la Muciara, blend of Grillo, Catarratto and Zibibbo, white Sicilian indigenous grapes; Favinia Le Sciabiche, red wine obtained from Perricone and Nero d’Avola; and finally Favinia Passulè, Zibibbo in purity, particularly appreciated for its pleasant, never invasive sweetness.
The tasting proposal also includes the tasting of 3 other references belonging to the Terroir of Firriato, from the millenarian viticulture of the Trapani countryside to the power of the wines of Etna. The tasting is open to the public by appointment on pre-established dates.
